Oh, fall is in the air and we are knocking on the door of hockey season finally being back. My favorite time of the year! Opening night for the Carolina Hurricanes is happening next week and I can’t wait to break out all my hockey and Canes gear.

When it comes to putting together a hockey game-day outfit, I typically aim to dress in pieces that are the team colors and are comfy and warm. You DO NOT need to buy a jersey or something team-spirited if you are a newbie or have never been to a game before.
I will sometimes aim for dressing in pieces from my own closet that show team spirit (yes, I sound like I am in high school still) but weren’t necessarily purchased solely for the game. Lucky for me, the Carolina Hurricanes (my team) is red, black, and white. All easy colors to incorporate.
