Hey y’all! Happy Labor Day! I hope y’all have been enjoying a nice and relaxing Labor Day weekend. It has been nothing but relaxation around here and trying to catch up on work that needs to be done or things that have been neglected this past week. I love when I can get in the zone and just start knocking stuff out and crossing things off my list because it makes me feel super accomplished and like I have gotten things done in my life.
The other best part about this weekend was that college football is finally back! I can’t believe it. It feels like it has been such a long time since college football has been on and I absolutely love this time of year. So on Saturday, I got to go to NC State’s first game and home opener and we were going up against East Carolina, my old home for 2 years. I told my friend that my second nature instincts were kicking in to yell Purple, Gold but I didn’t because my other instincts kicked in to yell Wolf, Pack.
We had an absolute fantastic time, except for the massive sunburn I am taking care of right now. We had made a plan that we were going to tailgate and set up quite the spread and everything was so yummy and made for the perfect tailgate. Now we just need to remember to bring games next time! The game was a red out but they also had the stadium striped out red and white and we did a pretty good job of succeeding that. I hope y’all enjoy getting to watch my viewpoint of college game day.
This was a bittersweet first game for my group of friends because we are all graduating in December so this was one of our last first’s of our Senior year. I am so glad I got to do game day with these girls because it just wouldn’t have been the same without them. We all cheered as loud as we could and I tried to remember all the cheers. At the end of the game it was really a test to see who had the worst sunburn.
I hope y’all got to cheer on your favorite college team to a win this weekend and I already can’t wait for next weekend’s game. As always thank y’all for stopping by and watching and reading. I will see y’all back here next time.
