I have always loved to learn no matter what the topic may be and ever since I graduated I have wanted to continue my education and learn from other people. The Conversation Series Podcast is a podcast getting to talk to some incredible people in different industries, with different experiences that I want to learn from and share stories that other people can learn from as well.
I am sitting down with Sean Holmes, Co-Founder of Nectar Sunglasses. Sean has created a company for the East Coast souls and for those who love a good pair of sunglasses, whether you are surfin’ waves, hitting the slopes, or mountain biking.
Nectar started back in 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia, in a tiny apartment with Sean actually building sunglasses when orders would come in. Fast forward to 2021 where they found their home base in Charleston, South Carolina, where they still reside today where if the waves are good, they are out the door going to surf. One clear message that I got from Sean is that all of the experiences, feedback, and people along the way have shaped who they are and the products they create. Sean really values listening to customers when they put on a pair of sunglasses, and what they like and don’t like.
We are diving into Sean’s journey of creating Nectar Sunglasses, the process of creating a brand new pair of sunglasses, but also the process of repurposing single-use plastics, and more. Join us as we get to know Sean and his story!
