Hey y’all! Welcome to The Conversation Series Podcast. I have always loved to learn no matter what the topic may be and ever since I graduated I have wanted to continue my education and learn from other people. The Conversation Series Podcast is a podcast getting to talk to some incredible people in different industries, with different experiences that I want to learn from, and share stories that other people can learn from as well.
I am sitting down with Pro Hockey player for the Metropolitan Riveters, Mental Health Advocate, and Founder of the Female Athletes Society, Reagan Rust. Reagan has been playing the beautiful game of hockey ever since she was 5 years old, amounting to 15 years. She started her college career at Rochester Institute of Technology and eventually got a scholarship to play at Boston University, winning the Beanpot Championship and getting inducted into the Beanpot Hall of Fame. Reagan founded the Female Athletes Society in 2020 with the mission of helping the next generation of female athletes with an abundance of resources.
Today, Reagan plays for the Metropolitan Riveters in New York and continues to inspire others and work as part of clinics for the next generation coming in. We are diving into Reagan’s playing career, what made her speak out as a mental health advocate, her time playing overseas in Europe, being part of the Riveters, and more. Join us as we get to know Reagan and her story!
Y’all, please go follow Reagan and follow along on her journey and all the amazing work she is doing. As always, thank y’all for stopping by and reading, watching, and listening. I will see y’all back here next time.
