The Conversation Series: Heidi Bahnck – Episode 85

Hey y’all! Welcome to The Conversation Series Podcast. I have always loved to learn no matter what the topic may be and ever since I graduated I have wanted to continue my education and learn from other people. The Conversation Series Podcast is a podcast getting to talk to some incredible people in different industries, with different experiences that I want to learn from and share stories that other people can learn from as well.

I am sitting down with Heidi Bahnck, Emmy-winning Video Editor, Senior Editor with NFL Films, and Arts and Literacy Advocate. I truly felt like I was in a masterclass sitting down with Heidi and acting as a sponge soaking everything up.

Heidi has over 25 years of experience in TV production in the genres of documentary, sports, reality, and children’s animation, and has worked on Emmy and Peabody award-winning programs. She is a recipient of the MCA-Universal Fellowship at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Heidi initially distinguished herself by designing a media archive that streamlined the production of several animated series.

She later segued into post-production and is currently an Emmy-winning editor at NFL Films. Heidi supports the arts in her community as a member of her local Arts Advisory Board, and advocates for literacy as the steward of her neighborhood Little Free Library, founder of ProBookClub.com, and secretary of the board of directors for BookSmiles.

She has been published in the Philadelphia Inquirer, was briefly the voice of the local YMCA telephone system, and has been to 15 Super Bowls and “I’m going to Disney World!” national commercials for 16 Super Bowls. She is grateful for her superpowers.

We are diving right into Heidi’s 25 years of experience, her variety of work in different genres, how she came to be working with NFL Films, what it was like to work on Netflix’s “Quarterback,” and more. Join us as we get to know Heidi and her story!

Y’all, please go follow Heidi and follow along on her journey and all the amazing work she is doing. As always, thank y’all for stopping by and reading, watching, and listening. I will see y’all back here next time.

LOVE, DANI
