The Conversation Series: Dan LaTorraca – Episode 72

Hey y’all! Welcome to The Conversation Series Podcast. I have always loved to learn no matter what the topic may be and ever since I graduated I have wanted to continue my education and learn from other people. The Conversation Series Podcast is a podcast getting to talk to some incredible people in different industries, with different experiences that I want to learn from and share stories that other people can learn from as well.

I am sitting down with Dan LaTorraca, Vice President of Marketing and Brand Strategy at the Carolina Hurricanes. I am having a little bit of a pinch-me moment with this episode because of my love for the Hurricanes and the incredible work Dan and his team do. Dan has been in the Marketing and communications space for the last decade with experience in the professional sports industry and success in digital media and brand strategy.

Dan started his career working with the Carolina Panthers as their Manager of Digital Content and Strategy in the height of digital and social becoming major positions and functions of organizations. Dan has truly gotten to see the boom and growth of social and digital in the sports industry and how they have influenced the growth of fan bases. Since 2018, Dan has been part of the Carolina Hurricanes organization and now oversees’s their digital marketing, retail, and creative services department in building and executive marketing, advertising, and brand strategies. Getting a big hand in campaigns such as Bunch of Jerks, The Stadium Series, and more.

We are diving into how Dan became to be working and his career along the way with the Carolina Panthers, Brooklyn Nets, New York Islanders, and now the Carolina Hurricanes, how he measures fan engagement, what the creation of Carolina Hurricanes campaigns looks like, and more. Join us as we get to know Dan and his story!

Y’all, please go follow Dan and follow along on his journey and all the amazing work he is doing. As always, thank y’all for stopping by and reading, watching, and listening. I will see y’all back here next time.
