Angela created Rootful Media in 2016, a Durham, North Carolina-based creative studio focused on photography, video production, and digital content for purpose-driven visual storytelling. Rootful Media works with regional organizations and national enterprises to amplify diverse groups and voices. Their work takes a documentary approach to narrative storytelling in the environmental justice and human rights industries while striking a balance between dynamic visual imagery and human connection.
