I have lived in Raleigh, NC, my entire life and there are still places and things that I have never done in my own city. That’s about to change. I am creating a series on here called Raleigh Spotlight that is going to showcase restaurants, bars, events, stores and shops, parks, activities, and more amazing things in Raleigh. This is our second post in this series and this is my all time FAVORITE restaurant, Gonza Tacos y Tequila! Gonza is an award-winning Colombian-Mexican cuisine, hand crafted Latin cocktails, an extensive variety of tequilas & regional spirits, and a carefully selected list of Latin wines & beers.
Whenever we have a birthday or something to celebrate or have friends come into town or a night out, this is where we go. No joke. Gonza has some of the best food and have four locations all over Raleigh. The entire restaurant is very festive and beautiful with hanging stars of different colors and patterns with a Day of the Dead theme all over. They have new specials every night with whatever is fresh and new and there is nothing bad on this menu AT ALL. And I highly suggest getting a drink from their bar, my favorite is their strawberry margarita that is top shelf deliciousness.
