Just like our Raleigh Spotlight’s, we are going to be doing Outer Banks Spotlights since I am here for the Summer and want to show y’all around. One of my new breakfast spots that was actually recommended to me to try is Waveriders Coffee & Deli. When I say they have some of the best sandwiches in the Outer Banks, I’m not lying! The first and my favorite sandwich that I got at Waveriders is the Walkover breakfast sandwich and I like to add just a little bit of cream cheese. One of their famous sandwiches is the Waverider deli sandwich. On top of their sandwiches, they have an incredible coffee and espresso bar along with smoothies and other basic beverages to go along with every great sandwich.
They are a little unique, comfortable and relaxed. If you expect a server to wait on you, you won’t find that. But, you will find a team of folks who want to make your visit relaxed, comfortable and not rushed. Waveriders is a bit different and they like it that way. Grab breakfast in the afternoon. A deli sandwich in the morning. A beer any time because they can serve it legally (NC Laws). Need a coffee – got it! Try a Mimosa Bucket! Take some beer home in a growler, grab a 6-pack of your favorite and find a large selection of Cider options for the Gluten Free folks!
Along with the incredible dining and seating options inside, they also have an entire outside area set up that you can grab a picnic table or chairs and take in that beautiful sunshine that the Outer Banks is known for!
