Outer Banks Spotlight: Fish Heads Bar & Grill

Just like our Raleigh Spotlight’s, we are going to be doing Outer Banks Spotlights since I am here for the Summer and want to show y’all around. Whenever we come to the Outer Banks or I bring new people along for the ride, we always have to go to Fish Heads Bar & Grill. During the warm months, they have live music at night and if that doesn’t scream the best beach experience ever, I don’t know what does.

They are a family friendly restaurant & bar, where you can grab lunch, dinner, or just hang for few brews. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, they are one of the few places with oceanfront dining! Their seating is open air with a small amount of tables under a roof only closed in by clear curtains on foul weather days. They have numerous tables outside on the deck with umbrellas for shade when the wind is not going to blow them away! My absolute favorite thing is their baskets that their food comes in. They are the perfect proportions and are all deliciously made.

At Fish Heads, beer is kind of their thing. They have 40 craft draft brews as well as a large selection of bottle domestics and imports. Wine by the glass or bottle are also available. They even have introduced Sake Cocktails, inspired by a Bloody Mary, Margarita, & Painkiller.

If any of you live in the Outer Banks or visit OBX, and have some places that you think should be showcased in the short-series OBX Spotlight series, please comment them down below or DM me on any of my social media. AND if you go to Fish Heads yourself, I want to hear how your experience was and what food you got. As always, thank y’all for stopping by and reading. I will see y’all back here next time.

LOVE, DANI
