Hey y’all! Hope all of you have been having a great weekend! This weekend has been a good one and has been accompanied by some absolutely beautiful weather that is not too hot and has some light breeze with it. The perfect weekend to chill and have not a care in the world! What have y’all been up to this weekend?
Summer’s are not my first favorite time of the year (that’s fall) but second favorite time of the year because there is this relaxed feeling to it that you can do whatever you want, go wherever you want, and so much more. But the summer also brings a different routine to get into, especially in the morning time. So I thought I would give y’all a look into what my summer morning routine is and how my mornings get me ready to take on the rest of the day.
My summer morning’s usually start off with me waking up to an alarm or just naturally, depends on what I have going on that day. I’ll get up and get out of bed and do the usual stuff: take my vitamins, brush my hair, take my retainer out, take care of Blue, and put my Apple watch on. After that I will get myself a glass of ice water and go through my phone notifications and see if there is anything I need to handle at that exact moment.
From there I will get myself ready to go workout. I workout almost every single morning and I do it for a bunch of reasons, but the #1 reason is to get my mind mentally ready to take on the rest of the day. I love to workout and get a good sweat on and feel like I accomplished something. After I get a workout in I will make myself some breakfast and most of the time that consists of eggs and bacon. It fits into my keto diet and has a lot of protein in it to help me recover.
After a delicious breakfast I will hop in the shower and get cleaned up and ready to take on the rest of the day. Most of the time, after I get out of the shower, I will sit down in my favorite chair and get some work done, whether it is blog posts, editing videos, responding to emails, social media, or planning. At this time I will also read and journal a little bit to get things out of my head. I do this for about an hour while the whole time having my eye on Blue and taking him outside when he needs to.
In jist that is my summer morning routine that is kind of basic but helps me get ready to take on the rest of the day and whatever else I have to do or fires I have to put out. What does y’all’s summer morning routine look like?
As always thank y’all for stopping by and reading and watching. I will see y’all back here next time.
