So I probably should have posted this sooner but ever since getting back from Mexico I have been playing catch up and getting ready for the new semester to start which I am dreading. But I wanted to share my 2019 Resolutions and what I am really going to work hard on this year whether it is health or personal goals or things that I want to accomplish. So without further ado here are my 2019 Resolutions!
1. HAVE AS MUCH FUN AS POSSIBLE
The only resolution I had for 2018 was to have as much fun as possible and I am carrying it forward in 2019. I want to continue my adventures, my traveling, see new places, spend a lot of great and fun times with friends and family, and really make some memories! I want to keep having as much fun as possible because thats what makes me want to keep chasing things in life.
2. WORK ON MY MENTAL HEALTH AND TAKE UP MEDITATION
I have had my fair share of personal problems with suicide and depression and this year I want to conquer that and learn how to become mentally stronger. I want to learn and practice meditation to help me become stronger and really look within and become a mentally stronger person to get out the negativity that I tend to focus on in life.
3. REMEMBER TO PHOTOGRAPH LIFE
Doing what I do, I take a lot of pictures to bring y’all new content of outfits, food, and travel, I tend to forget to take pictures of the real life things that are happening with friends and family and to really be in the moment. Those are my favorite moments to photograph and that is what I really want to focus on photographing this year.
4. TRAVEL A LOT AND SEE NEW PLACES
I have already really loaded up my year with travel but am continuing new and fun things to my travel schedule to really immerse myself in new sights and cultures. I want to go and create new memories with great friends and family in new places and see things that I have to pinch myself to believe that I am there! 2019 watch out, we are gonna be seeing a lot of new places!
5. LOVE MYSELF
I want to focus on myself for once and really, really get to know myself. I have a tendency to see the worst in myself so I really want to focus on the good and turn the negatives into positives.
6. GET BACK TO A PHYSICALLY HEALTHY PLACE
For my sanity and my health, I want to get back to a healthy place and really get back in shape. I’m not saying I want to become stick thin and completely become a different person, I just want to find healthy ways and enjoy being active. I even really want to get back to my running even though I know it is going to kick my butt in the beginning because it has been forever.
7. WORK ON MY RELATIONSHIPS WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY
My relationship with my friends and family are all very unique. I make a joke all the time that my family should have a reality TV show because we would entertain the crap out of people with all of the things we have going on. But in 2019 I want to work on my relationships with the people that matter and work on how I communicate with everyone and deal with problems and treat everyone.
8. STOP COMPARING MYSELF TO OTHER PEOPLE
This is something I really struggle with and always have but I am working on teaching myself that it is not fair to compare myself to others because everyone is different in their own way. I have my own uniqueness and light that shines differently from others and this is something that I am gonna show in 2019!
9. HAVE AS MANY DANCE PARTIES AS POSSIBLE
I love to have dance parties whether they are in my car with the radio blasting or with friends dancing our butts off or even just by myself in my apartment dancing like there is no tomorrow! Now let me say this that I am not the greatest dancer AT ALL, but I still love to do it and find that it makes each and every single day better.
