I am back with a house update. Well, part one of a house update. I am showing y’all what the new downstairs looks like, some before and afters, all the work that has been done, and what is left to still be done. Down below are all the major things we have done so far and who exactly did them if you are in the North Carolina area or have any of these places where you live.

Flooring
We thought a lot about the floors we wanted to put down. There were two different types of floors on the downstairs floor and absolutely hated how it looked. So one cohesive flooring was a must. We wanted it to match or be in the same family as the wall color we were using and lighten up the house. Another must was one-size baseboards around the whole house. We had 3 1/2, 4 1/4, and 5 1/2 around the whole downstairs. Home Depot was the place we went to and they coordinated everything from ordering to dropping off materials to scheduling the company to come in to install.
Floors: Lifeproof Sterling Oak Click Lock Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring
Baseboards: Woodgrain Millwork 9/16 in. x 4-1/4 in. x 96 in. Primed Finger-Jointed Base Moulding
HVAC System
We got several quotes to replace our HVAC System including our ductwork, but ultimately went with Air Experts and they absolutely knocked it out of the park for us. They gave us the fairest price, their teams were phenomenal, and they got each system done in just a few hours. They made sure everything was set up and working properly with each of our Ecobee Thermostats and got us set up with a rebate account with our energy company. Would 1000% use Air Experts again for any Air Conditioning and Heating needs we might need.
Crawl Space
Oh what a problem spot this was for us. We completely needed our Crawl Space redone and we had the incredible company, CrawlSpace Doctor, come in and do it. We had mold in there that they treated, relaid new flooring, cleaned everything up and took old stuff out, etc. It is incredible the change and they got it done in 4 days!
Painting
An incredible family friend of ours, Randy Wogick, came in and worked complete magic for us. He painted our entire house, filled holes and patches, painted the stair railings, every piece of trim around windows, molding, cabinets, and so much more. It is probably the most incredible transformation of the whole house and we are so incredibly lucky that Randy was able to come in and do this for us because it is magical! We completely used Sherwin Williams paint and A LOT of it.
Wall Color: Spare White SW 6203

Stay tuned for more house updates as we continue the renovation. As always, thank y’all for stopping by and reading and watching. I will see y’all back here next time.
