What a battle this month of training was. Welcome to January and the training for my 13th half marathon! This time I am training for my 13th overall half marathon and 5th half marathon on my half marathon bucket list. This next race is a bucket list race for me as we are heading down to Orlando, Florida to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon.
I am taking along for a month of cold and then hot weather runs this January and just what exactly they look like, the distances and my training layout, what I typically wear, my stretching, where I run, just weeks before race time, and more. This month we battled some sickness issues as well as some mental health ups and downs. All of this makes for a difficult month of training and I’m bringing y’all along for it.
