Half Marathon Training – August

Welcome to August and the training for my 15th half marathon! This time I am training for my 15th overall half marathon and 7th half marathon on my half marathon bucket list. For this next race, we are heading up to Huntington, West Virginia to run the Marshall University Half Marathon on November 5.

I am taking y’all along for the first few weeks of training getting back into training mode. We are still in the warm season but heading to cooler weather (thank God) so there are a couple of tread runs to avoide the rain and crappy weather and just what exactly they look like, the distances and my training layout, my stretching, where I run, getting back into the groove of training after a break, and more.
