Half Marathon Series | How To Actually Enjoy Running

Hey y’all! I hope all of you are staying safe and healthy at home with your quarantine partners. We are getting closer to the actual race day and I am beat up for sure! Normally, at this stage in training your body starts to get a little tired and mine is for sure and I am starting to have a few injuries. So lots of icing, stretching, and compression socks right now.

One of the biggest questions that I have always gotten is why I love running and how do I actually enjoy running. I have been running for 12 years and by no means has it ever been easy all the time for me to do. I have had to draw on certain things to make running easier and enjoyable, even when I am not in the mood or my body is feeling a certain type of way. So today I am sharing with y’all my favorite 4 tips as to how I enjoy running. These are simple things you can do and by no means did I pull any science or extreme logic into any of this.
