Happy Friday! It’s time for the weekend! It’s so funny because I feel like I get more excited for Friday eve than I do when Friday actually rolls around. That might just be me on that one. Anyways, it has been a little crazy around here and I wanted to catch y’all up. If you have been following along you may have noticed that I was out of the country for the first time in a LONG time and I was down in Jamaica. It was a dream trip and one of those that we didn’t want to leave at all. Which is probably why our whole crews flights were delayed on the day we departed from Jamaica. The craziness continued though when we got home.

Two days after getting home from Jamaica, I had major surgery. I am not going to share just quite yet what I had done because I am still getting comfortable with it and still in recovery that sometimes makes me wish I didn’t have it done. Once everything has healed, it will all be great but right now I can’t workout like I usually do which has forced me to find other ways to stay mentally tough. I appreciate all the warm wishes and prayers I got from people reaching out to me, it made me feel better and has helped tremendously with my recovery.

What are everyone’s plans for the weekend? It is turning beautiful here in North Carolina minus the pollen. Everything is very green and lush and it feels amazing to be outside and soak in some Vitamin D. As always, thank y’all for stopping by and reading. I will see y’all back here next time.

Love, Dani
