Fall Recipes I Can’t Wait To Try

Oh my favorite time of the year! Pull out everything pumpkin and let’s get to cookin’. A new season is here and it is time to get in the kitchen and start whipping up some delicious soups, chilis, meats, and more. I am sharing some of the recipes that I have had my eye on as we get closer to this crisp Fall season. What are y’all whipping up this Fall?

Vegetable Beef Soup

Soup and the fall are seriously the perfect combo. I honestly love it year-round, but during the cold weather months, nothing tastes better. One of my favorite soups is vegetable beef. The beef makes it super hearty, but it’s light enough you’ll be back for seconds.

Smothered Skillet Chicken

I will do whatever it takes to convince you to make this for dinner tonight. The absolute BEST chicken recipe that everyone in this house can’t get enough of. This skillet chicken and mushrooms is unreeeeeal. The gravy? You will want to drink it. The crispy chicken skin? You might fight over it. The flavor here is so incredible that I’m actually mad that I’m not making this for our dinner tonight.

Balsamic-Roasted Fall Vegetables

Fall vegetables are bursting with natural flavor and appetizing colors! This easy recipe for Balsamic Roasted Fall Vegetables with Sumac is a stunner perfect for any night and Thanksgiving. One of my favorite ways to prepare vegetables is to roast them. Fall and winter vegetables are particularly wonderful because they have so much natural flavor.

Cranberry Apple Puff Pastry Tarts

Bakery quality pastries you can make at home with frozen puff pastry and a few pantry ingredients. Convenient dessert with a simple filling.

Rosemary Sage Pork Loin Roast

Are you in need of something easy that leaves your guests and family thinking you spent hours in the kitchen? Rosemary Sage Pork Loin Roast is the perfect alternative to traditional ham, roast beef, or turkey, and oh so yummy!

Chili Stuffed Peppers

I’m a SUCKER for stuffed peppers. Ever since I was a kid, they’ve been one of my favorite meals. They’re super filling because you get so much protein with the beef, plus you don’t have to feel weighed down afterwards. I also just love how colorful and cheesy they are!

Sloppy Joes

Is there anything more nostalgic than sloppy joes? Whether they remind you of summer camp or weeknight dinners growing up, most everyone has a soft spot for this tasty dish. I found this recipe for the “healthy adult version,” and now I can’t stop thinking about them. We will definitely be making these!

Crock Pot Chicken Pot Pie

Few things say comfort food like a chicken pot pie. And few things say even more comfort like the crock pot. When you combine the two, you’ve got an easy hands-free crock pot dish that tastes like heaven. The best part? The flakey biscuit on the top.

Creamy Goat Cheese Pasta

There’s something so incredibly comforting about a pasta dish. I love that this recipe included creamy goat cheese and asparagus. It feels equal parts decadent and somewhat healthy. Pasta dishes are always a must during the week because they can be ready in literally minutes.

Pumpkin Cider Doughnuts

Who doesn’t love donuts? These Pumpkin Cider Donuts are made with earthy pumpkin cider and warm spices then, fried to perfection and freshly glazed! These doughnuts are tender, sweet and oh-so decadent!

Red Curry Lentil Stew with Butternut Squash

This red curry lentil stew is where it’s at. Red curry, lentils, butternut squash, kale and lots of creamy coconut milk. It kind of has it all. All of the fall ingredients, a ton of flavor wrapped into a totally hearty, savory stew.

Cider Braised Pot Roast

Cider braised pot roast is the comfort food we all need right now! I’m bringing you one of my all-time favorite meals EVER today with this melt-in-your-mouth pot roast. Oh my word. It is heaven and it is the best comfort food of life.

Chipotle Tomato Soup

I mean, need I say more? This chipotle tomato soup is an absolute GAME CHANGER. Mostly because it is served with super easy and quick smoked cheddar pull apart bread. You will struggle to stay away from this entire loaf. Oh boy is this incredible.

Chickpeas and Dumplings

I could not be more excited about these chickpeas and dumplings! This is literally a hug in a bowl. I promise it will be your new favorite thing. Dumplings are a massive staple in our house for Fall and Winter.

Pumpkin Risotto with Carmelized Onions

This pumpkin risotto is the perfect comforting fall dish. Creamy and rich, it’s topped with apple cider caramelized onions and crispy sage. Sprinkle on some parmesan cheese and you’ll be in heaven! This is the most October-y recipe on the menu.

Pomegranate Cider Pork Roast

Pomegranate pork loin roast is about to make you win dinner this season. This is one that I am thinking of as the perfect holiday meal with so many different delicious flavors. Deeeelish.

Fire Roasted Minestrone with Kale Pesto

I can’t think of a better way to start a Fall weekend than minestrone soup. Fall time is calling for a big warm bowl of minestrone soup with melting parm and a heavy-handed drizzle of kale pesto. Now I know some of us are on the fence about Kale but I think doing it this way totally works.

Weeknight Maple Turkey Chili

Calling all my chili cookoff people? This easy turkey chili might be the only soup recipe I need all season. It’s going to be your weeknight go-to.

Apple Butter Pie

Don’t let the plain-Jane appearance lull you into thinking this pie tastes bland. This delicious treat packs a real punch of sweet and tart apple intensity that will surprise you with the very first bite!

Pumpkin Bisque with Grilled Cheese Croutons

Enter pumpkin soup! The creamiest pumpkin soup every with some fontina grilled cheese croutons because golden, toasty bread and melty cheese are liiiife.

What are y’all cooking up in the kitchen this Fall? As always, thank y’all for stopping by and reading. I will see y’all back here next time.

LOVE, DANI
