Oh, my favorite season you are almost here! Fall is on the way, y’all! The high in Raleigh today is 75 degrees. I consider anything under 80 basically a fall day.

In all seriousness, now is the time to start updating your wardrobe for the upcoming cooler weather. Each year, I like to buy 1-2 new pairs of jeans and a few sweaters. Plus, I’ll typically splurge on a new pair of boots each fall because I tend to wear booties a lot this time of year.

I find that sweaters tend to “hold their value” for at least a few years since they aren’t necessarily overly trendy. My taste in jeans also stays the same pretty much year after year, so I never worry about investing in a good pair of denim either.
