We are continuing on the Disney train and I am breaking down where we stayed when we went to Disney and other on property Disneyland Hotel options outside of where we stayed. What I love about Disney hotels is the different themes of each hotel. You can be in a log cabin or futuristic or back in the 1920’s. Each one has its own differences and always important to see what is going to work best for you.
WHERE WE STAYED
We stayed at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel which is one of the three hotels on property. Celebrate the heyday of California beachfront boardwalks and step back in time at this old-fashioned yet modern hotel—home to a variety of shopping and recreation opportunities—and ride a wave of relaxation from your charming seaside-themed room all the way up to the rooftop pool for some welcome fun in the sun.
All of the rooms reflect the casual yet elegant beachfront pavilion hotels of the early 1920s. Sand-and-surf-themed furnishings and décor, elegant park-influenced artwork and all the modern amenities. With a rooftop pool and waterslide, make a splash, cool off or catch some rays on our panoramic rooftop pool deck. The whole family can enjoy a dip in the Paradise Pool or a fast-paced, twisting plunge down the California Streamin’ waterslide. Young ones can make a splash in the Children’s Pool, while adults in need of a little rest and relaxation can lounge in the Paradise Spa whirlpool.
If you are able to stay on property, I would highly suggest it. Everyday it was a 5 minute walk to both parks, Downtown Disney, and all food. Legitimately we walked across the street to the parks EVERY SINGLE DAY! I know now to do this every time we go to Disney because it made things so much easier and simpler without having to worry about renting a car or Ubering/Lyfting anywhere. The hotel offered a free shuttle to pick us up from the airport and take us back to the airport the day we departed, and it was nothing but a smooth and easy journey.
