Self-discovery is not an easy thing. I was inspired to do this when I was reading an article last week and felt like it was the appropriate time to share with the changing of seasons getting ready to happen and the need for some fresh inspiration. If you are a journaler like me, what are some of your prompts for self-discovery?
- What does happiness mean to you?
- What is something you regret?
- What is something you regret not doing?
- Imagine a world where you could do everything you like without being judged by the people around you. Would anything change in your life?
- Describe a mistake you recently made, big or small. How did you deal with it?
- Complete the sentence and then keep writing: I need to accept that ____________
- If you could only keep three things you own, what would they be and why?
- How would you describe yourself to a complete stranger?
- What are you most grateful for at this moment?
- Describe one of your hobbies.
- What is the greatest life lesson you’ve learned?
- What do you do on a good day?
- What are your main coping mechanisms? Are they serving you well?
- What is one thing about you that no one knows?
- Describe a change that made your life better.
- Given enough time, where would you go and what would you do there?
- Who or what gives you inspiration in your professional life?
- What do people like about you? Are these the same things you like about yourself?
- What made you more resilient in life and what can you do today to prepare yourself for future challenges?
- What are your core values? Are you living in accordance with them?
What questions pique your interest the most? As always, thank y’all for stopping by and reading. I will see y’all back here next time.
