10 Things I’m Thankful For This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving looks a little different for 2020 but that isn’t stopping me from being thankful for the things that I do have in life. Throughout all of this, I have kept that in mind and tried to focus on the positives of what I do have and not what I don’t or what is going wrong. This Thanksgiving it is important to look at the positives of what we have and be thankful for the big and small things. What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving?

Family & Friends– My friends and family mean the world to me. I have a very small group of friends but we would do anything for each other and I know the same goes for my family. I am thankful that every single one of them are here today.

The Beautiful Game of Hockey– I mean come on do I even need to explain this knowing me. Hockey means the world to me and I am waiting for the day that the new season starts again and I feel at home again. LETS GO HURRICANES, LETS GO STARS!

My Job– In the world we live in today, I am incredibly thankful for this but more importantly I am thankful for the incredibly people that I get to work with every single day. I work on an incredible team that truly does amazing work every single day.

Travel– Even though we aren’t getting to travel right now, it makes me appreciate the travel I have gotten to do and the small road trips that I am allowed to do now. I miss it and hopefully can get back to exploring the world safely here soon.

Getting To See A New Day– I think that is pretty straight forward. I am grateful to see the sunrise every morning and sunset every night.

Frontline Care Workers– The nurses, the doctors, the surgeons, the firefighters, the police officers, everybody on the frontlines fighting this corona virus and everything else going on in the world. I am incredibly thankful for them and all the hard work they are doing.

The Blog & YouTube Channel– 4 years for this blog and 3 years for my YouTube Channel. Words cannot describe how both of these things have changed my life and continue to allow me to do some really incredible things.

North Carolina State University– Even though I graduated last year, the experience and everything I learned has paid itself in two-folds. I am forever part of the Wolfpack and dang grateful for it.

The People Who Have Made Such An Impact On My Life With this I am not talking about just friends and family that have made an impact, I am talking about the people I have worked with, the kids I have worked with, the people who inspire me, etc. Those people feed my hunger to keep doing what I am doing and to help give back in any way that I can. I love the Conversation Series that I have started that I have incredibly grateful and lucky to talk to so many incredible people.

All of you– None of what I do here would be possible without your support and continuing to read and watch everything that I put out there. So thank you, thank you, thank you.

I hope y’all have a great Thanksgiving and get to spend time with the ones you love safely! As always, thank y’all for stopping by and reading. I will see y’all back here next time.

Love, Dani
